The structure had to blend with the surrounding and yet had to be exceptional one. The exercise hence, was to provide a solution, which would address issues of the surroundings, concerns of hot and humid climate and at the same time, satisfy the modern taste of the client.

Landscape is designed in such a manner that it compliments the structure.It gives a welcoming feel and at the same time pleases the eye. Apart from entrance even each room has its own private courts.

Toilets are specifically designed as per client's desire which blend with landscape perfectly.

The interiors are designed with simplicity, elegance and minimilistic approach.

Past the court one has a common family space with double height reversed conical roof.

House has three bedrooms with private courts.Natural materials like wood, stone and sloping roof with shingles are used which fuses the structure with the surrounding.
Composite structure with combination of Concrete and steel is used to achieve a unique shape.

A reversed shaped conical roof gives dynamism to the structure. This roof was specially designed with the reverse slope as compared to the conventional sloping roof to have emphatic shape which welcomes you

Client also wanted a gym area which is designed in such a manner that it gets a view of landscape.This gym area is besides the entrance and hardly gets noticed by anyone keeping it a private space for the client.

As the north is tilted, we decided to rotate the bungalow at 45 degree to avoid direct exposure to Sun and avoid heat gain.
An inward plan conserves the sanctitiy of a house, from a passer by and unnecessary external sounds.

Formal living, Family space and Dining area are designed with reversed shaped conical roof, to create unique ambience and achieve thermal comfort. Dining area adds the touch of classic interiors to the space.

As the climate is warm and humid, since Vapi is near sea shore, Spaces with high ceiling are designed so as to have good natural ventilation which helps in keeping the interiors cool and comfortable. The house is recessed from the front, so that the shape can be appreciated, along with good garden as foreground.

All the spaces, like kitchen , dining and bedrooms are accessed through a central courtyard. This courtyard provides ample of natural light and air circulation in the entire house. It also ensures visual connect between these spaces.

Entrance through the landscape takes us to the main entry of the house, which leads us into a grand double height formal living room. This formal living has an attached deck for outdoor sitting purpose.
