Design began with remodelling the apartment walls. By removing a few walls - the foyer, drawing, dining and a corridor or combined together thereby creating a large common area full of natural light. The entrance ceiling painted in black is adorned with ninety pcs of inverted copper bowls converted into dimmable lights, lighting up the entrance evenly like an array of diyas lit and decorated to welcome the family members and guests.

An intricate Pichwai artwork form the client collectibles is the centre piece of the entrance lobby. Transition is of colours and design details is created from the entrance to the Living and dining room. Rich white Lhasa marble on the floor brightens up the space in the common areas. Wall of the Living room is cladded with Gwalior stone with CNC cut design pattern of leaves giving a statement backdrop to the room. Ceiling is designed with a touch of teak wood border, maintaining the simplicity and highlighting the hand-crafted glass leaves of the bespoke chandelier.

Dining area in continuation boasts a 10-seater statuario marble table and a modern art piece like chandelier. Left side of the dining is a Crystal marble and M.S. Screen partition that creates an interesting pattern while blocking direct view from the entrance. A Grey PU and rattan finish crockery unit seamlessly merge with the extended dining space. Flooring in all the rooms of the apartment is done using solid teak wood planks in herringbone pattern, creating cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

Dining of Apartment Pinnacle by FOA Design Studio

The Home office space is kept simple with beige and brown tones used in wallpaper and furniture. Bespoke bookshelf and table in MS and wood creates an ideal environment for working and attending clients at home. The Master bedroom is kept in warm tones in extension to the Living area. A large hand-made modern art on canvas is used as wall panelling behind the back making it the focal point in the room. A continued TV and study unit in statuario and dark brown PU adds to the extravagant style of the occupants.

Daughters’ bedroom is designed in eclectic tones. Patterned pink wall with hidden toilet door creates a dreamy backdrop for the kids room. Blue upholstered bed is designed in contrast with the color of the room to spark interest and playfulness among the kids.

Dark pine green color along with natural teak wood is used to create a calming environment in the elderly mother’s bedroom. A combination of upholstered velvet fabric and black mirror is used to create a pattern for the backdrop of the bed. The TV unit in teakwood is installed within the almirahs to save space and maximize the storage creating a seamless and neat look in the room.

Design detail considerations are extended equally to the toilets that are designed to stand out by themselves. Powder toilet is highlighted with large tiles that portrays itself as an artwork and are complemented with dark brown metal mosaics adding richness to the space. Master toilet is finished in leather finish Panda white marble on walls and black and white patterned tile floor. A vibrant colorful painting becomes the focus while indulging into the experience of the bath tub.

Overall the spaces are designed reflecting the clients’ love for style and their welcoming nature. Their appreciation for craftsmanship and detailing has been the key element in shaping the interiors of the apartment.
