The brief given by clients was, “they want a Timeless and contemporary space but elegant and slightly Minimal, well lit at glance…” this gave inception of an idea of creating well transparent spaces yet with some privacy, Using Classical material Pallets and colors.
The first task… The Space which is to be designed as charted accountant’s (CA) office was a residential two-bedroom apartment in a newly completed building. So the task was to get the space clean by removing Internal walls, as walls cause Opaque and Cluttered space.
These Spaces are Planned in such a way that Entrance Leads us to a reception and waiting followed by a conference room towards Left, Segregated with teak wood and glass partition, Materials with a Classical Presence. This unlocked a transparent space with privacy for Conference. The cabins are located towards the back of the reception area. These two cabins are separated with partitions made of fluted glass panels in a Teak wood frame, one of the Cabins was kept visually connected without breaking its privacy as per requirement. The requirement of accommodating 6-7 people in Work station was fulfilled which was next to the cabin.
The color scheme of the office was largely Kept largely neutrally and earthy palette, which was popped by artworks, plants, and artifacts. The idea was to impart an ‘executive’ vibe without letting the interiors become overpowering.
The materials used are diverse, glass, fluted glass, teak wood, terracotta jails, veneer, and more. The Office Designed is Visually Transparent, giving a spacious view with good volume.
