CAM WINDOWS EXPERIENCE CENTRE by DesignLoom Architects

The new experience centre for CAM windows is located in Central part of the Kochi city. It's a commercial space with full-window view to the city main road. Though commercial in nature, the experience centre was to be of a welcoming and lively ambience and yet in an Industrial Interior theme. 

On entering through the doors, one is welcomed into the cosy waiting area with teal sofa. The installation of sailor window on one wall looking out to the display and the cards of material displayed on the other wall adds drama and sparks curiosity within the visitor. The sailor window (round) is itself designed as display of the unique ”switchable glass”.  Adorned with a beautiful ceiling made from Aluminium Ceiling channels and intermediate linear lights focuses ones attention directly towards the reception area with a highlighter wall for brand name. 

There is a conscious attempt through circulation design, usage of lines, and colours and material to guide a visitors eyes through the space. On moving towards the right of the reception the visitor gets to view installation displays placed strategically on MS framework. The product can be inspected and its working understood with utmost clarity using this mode of “walk and view” display.  

A very comfortable space is designed for the MDs cabin /staffs as well as the visitors, be it their working space, back office or toilet facilities. This project experimented with corporate or office interior such that it need not necessarily be just formal and functional but can also be wrapped in subtle warmth, drama and splash of colours.
