Overlooking the hustling, busy share of Cochin city in Kerala, India, flaunts a multi-disciplinary business advisory enterprise. The trend-setting interior
styling of CAPITAIRE steals our attention with its versatile color palette and striking design orientation. The enterprise is solely focused on tax, accounting, business advisory and business auditing that deals with high-profile clients from various industries. The patrons of CAPITAIRE envisioned an interactive workspace with a 'wow factor' that is easily accessible to all clients. Sprawling over 3885 sq. ft. CAPITAIRE also offers a sleek and polished training space for professionals with work experience.

Unfolding the style statements, the firm consists of a lobby, interview space, meeting room, MD's room, workstation, internship/training hall, pantry and washrooms. Significantly, the color blends of CAPITAIRE provide a pleasant work atmosphere. And, the occasional pop of fun yellows is clearly a 'pick me up' between the browns, greys, blacks and beiges in the palette. As observed, the matte grey tiles that cover more than half of the firm maintain a neat monochromatic feel. Texture paint for the wall finish strengthens the overall ‘cozy yet classy’ mood, making CAPITAIRE a warm, welcoming space for their celebrated clientele.

The workstation comprises 26 seatings and a mini library that has 9 informal seatings. The tables are finished in glossy white laminate. For partitioning the space, glass and aluminum fabrications are used. And, the oval air conditioning duct perfectly matches the open ceiling. The library space is treated as a stress-busting, relaxation zone. Interestingly, it is found to be in full occupancy once the official working hours come to an end. Blinds are provided to block any harsh daylight encountered at the east-facing orientation. Furthermore, the stunning night view opening to the bypass road creates a desirable work ambiance for employees who are finishing up late-night chores.

The main corridor between the internship hall and the workstation is where we see a mass flow of circulation and movement. The vibrant black-yellow mix acts as a breath of fresh air for those who step out of their spaces for a mini break. CAPITAIRE’s internship hall is yet another gem to review. The curved Corian-topped tables are customized as per the requirements of the patrons to hold a total of 40 trainees. The state-of-the-art facilities include a giant interactive panel and impressive acoustic treatment.

The MD's cabin is designed with special luxury notes including custom light hangings and premium furniture. Stepping into the cabin creates a sudden boost in one’s comfort level as every design element ensures the best comfort and warmth. PVC+ charcoal fluted panels, laminates and lacquered glasses are some interesting styling elements that lock our eye on spaces such as the meeting room and MD’s cabin.

Exploring some of the head-turning design hacks of the architect, we will find that all the essential tech equipment such as UPS, batteries etc are perfectly sealed off in the custom-made furniture with grooves and louvers. Hiding AC trap doors have been attempted creatively by preparing a ceiling design that smoothly vanishes these doors, making them nearly unrecognizable.

CAPITAIRE is built of advanced consultant services and the patrons wish to reflect their service quality through every inch of their brand representation. Be it the classic color blends, the unique lighting choices and the premium wall finishes, the brand ensures a hundred percent work-space comfort to their loyal employees and clients. The firm has already begun its expansion on the same floor as a part of developing more interactive business spaces. Breaking off the conventional norms we often spot in business consultancies, styling the CAPITAIRE interiors is accomplished with a refreshing design motto that makes it stand out from its fellow enterprises.
