Designed for a cute, well-read and well traveled, middle aged couple with 2 daughters, Casa de Primrose located on the 20th floor of Iskon building in Ahmedabad gives out a warm and coz European house vibe. Every room in this house is designed according to very specific desires and needs of this lovely family.

The house has formal and informal living spaces with quirky sofas in both the spaces. If you see carefully, you will notice that each sofa is different from the other, an element that they picked from their travels. The pastel green sofa makes it a quirky element along with the traditional checkered sofa. There are plants in and around the house giving it a lively demeanour. There’s a handwoven carpet on the wall made by Kashmiri artist giving the wall a very personal taste. The white brick wall in the informal living, the louvered and fluted details on the door and the fresh hues add a touch of European charm to the space.

The kitchen is modular with white and yellow deep pressed wooden flooring. Every room in this vibrant house has a seating with a heavy sofa near the window. You can also see curtains designed with frills, scallops and details that give out a very flowy and homely feel. The walls are plain indicative of a very traditional European house feature.

The cupboards and beds have delicate and precise designs making this place a vintage heaven. All in all, this house is a walk down the memory lane for this family who wanted their home to define them, their travels and be their safe haven.
