The 7000 sq.ft. floor plate is in a commercial building which houses Mugdha Silk Showroom on two floors and CULT fitness on the third floor. The fourth floor was later transformed into a residential 6 BHK space. Therefore it came with its own set of challenges with the beam heights being real low & planning the zones so that it was easy to meander between areas at the same time to make it a cohesive and cozy home. For them, this 6BHK conversion stands as a testament to thoughtful design, spatial innovation, and adaptive planning. The layout was reimagined to balance openness and functionality. Two spacious living areas cater to both formal entertaining and intimate family time, while a central kitchen anchors the home — modern, efficient, and connected to the social core. Six well-proportioned bedrooms, each with its own identity and privacy, were planned with strategic circulation paths to ensure comfort without compromise.

This space was designed for a joint family of 11 people (adults and kids included) with space for the helps of the house as well. The entourage included grandparents, parents, teenagers, kids & toddlers – so the design had to bring in the best for every person s needs while balancing the aesthetics. Thus they came up with the idea of “GLAM FORT” – GLAMOUROUS YET COMFORTABLE.

The family space was very dear to them – it had to tie in the aesthetics of all age groups. Welcome to a space where comfort meets character — the heart of the home, thoughtfully designed for the entire family to unwind, connect, and create memories. The rustic charm of the exposed brick wall sets a warm and timeless backdrop, beautifully complemented by wooden rafters that stretch across the ceiling, adding texture and a sense of heritage. At the center of it all is a super-comfortable sofa that practically invites you to sink in — perfect for long conversations, lazy weekends, or movie nights that go well past bedtime. A handcrafted wooden jhoola gently sways in one corner, blending tradition with relaxation, while a state-of-the-art massage chair offers a modern indulgence — your personal retreat after a long day. This family space is more than just a room — it’s a sanctuary where every element is chosen for comfort, connection, and a little bit of everyday luxury.

The entrance foyer has zero furniture on purpose as we wanted to highlight the wall just on its own & hence a carved sandstone piece in three hues was brought in and flanked by lotus cut outs. Step into a space where timeless elegance meets natural strength — where every surface tells a story carved in stone. Enveloped in a rich stone finish texture paint, this environment radiates a raw, grounded beauty that echoes the essence of nature itself. With its earthy tones and rugged charm, the stone finish evokes the feeling of ancient architecture reimagined for the modern age — durable, sophisticated, and effortlessly refined.
