Sotheby's International Realty (SIR), the real estate arm of the 275 gear old brand, has been working to provide curated real estate to the elite. Working with the biggest names in art, architecture & design to make the once unattainable attainable.

For their first office in Mumbai, India SIR decided to partner with Studio 11 architects.

The brief to the architects was simple, "Develop a unique, sophisticated well-curated space to match the brand's distinctive image & lineage "

This 1000 sq, ft office space located in the uber-exclusive "One BKC" premise came with its own set of challenges comprising of work timings, Short project deadline and an ambitious Checklist of offerings. Rising to the challenge, Studio 11 blended site conditions, light, space, material, and design detail to deliver a contemporary, minimalistic but highly efficient workplace

The palette in somber grey & brown tones offsets with the signature blue of the brand. Wooden finish storages, aluminum frames, and metal furniture lend lightness to space while establishing a more modern aesthetics.

The specific choice of materials and a distinguished palette aimed at expanding the perceived space while still adhering to functionality. The color palate & design language was in sync with the brand's international standards while creating a distinct identity for Sotheby's International Realty - India.
