Rooted in the quiet neighborhood of Reshimbagh, Nagpur, Mud Block House rises from an 1800 sq.ft plot as a calm and grounded presence. With a built-up area of 1000 sq.ft, the home embraces restraint letting material, light, and proportion define its identity.

The structure is wrapped in exposed Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEB), earthen and deeply rooted in place. Their earthen tones lend warmth and depth, while the raw finish allows the house to age gracefully, collecting stories with every season. A gently sloping roof adds sculptural simplicity, and a soft threshold of greenery spills onto the porch, creating an effortless blend between architecture and landscape.

The interiors are an extension of the material used in the exterior. Finishes that soften the palette and muted tones. The layout flows seamlessly: The double-height living room anchors the plan, drawing the eye upward to a floating mezzanine nook, a quiet space to read work or unwind. A pooja room that captures soft morning light through a perforated screen, and a kitchen extending into a utility space. And light-filled two cozy bedrooms tucked away for privacy completes the spatial narrative.

The Shahbad stone flooring grounds the interiors in a muted, tactile palette that continues the material honesty of the exterior. The house breathes: warm, tactile, and timeless.

The architecture that doesn't impose- it blends, breathes, and belongs.
