This project is intended to enhance daily living while offering an inviting space for hosting gatherings, embodying a sense of perfect peace and happiness—aptly named “Nirvana”. As my personal residence, Nirvana serves as an ideal living space for my family, which includes my wife, my retired parents, and myself.

The design brief was simple: to create a light, airy, and minimalistic environment that is both functional and easy to maintain, while maximising the enjoyment of the breeze on our new 14th floor apartment.

The primary design focus was to craft sleek, durable furniture using metal for strength and timeless appeal, combined with natural materials to add warmth and character.

The design incorporates elegant elements in form of brass pipes, steel bed, rich marble accents, and polished plywood, creating a harmonious blend of form and function. The plain white ceilings and walls serve as a backdrop, allowing the furniture, fabrics, and decor to take centre stage. This design embraces modern minimalism with mid-century influences.
