Pizza and Frends, a Surat-based fine-dining restaurant, takes diners on a captivating journey through time, blending the raw essence of the Stone Age with the sophistication of modern design. This unique concept is spread spaciously across two floors, encompassing a total of 3800 square feet.
 
The design embraces a minimalist approach, utilizing a carefully curated material palette. Rustic vitrified floor tiles provide a foundation that evokes the earthiness of the Stone Age. This textural base is complemented by a metal fabricated ceiling, adding a touch of industrial chic. The walls are finished in a rustic manner, further reinforcing the prehistoric theme. Wood plays a pivotal role, bringing warmth and richness to the furniture elements, creating a sense of grounded elegance. To add a pop of vibrancy, statement blue accents are used strategically throughout the space.

A key element of the client's vision was transparency. This is achieved by creating open counters, allowing diners to witness the culinary artistry firsthand, from the initial stages at the coffee counter to the live pizza preparation and finally, the presentation of Italian delicacies on the mezzanine floor.
 
Lighting plays a crucial role in enhancing the various zones of the restaurant, creating a captivating atmosphere. The strategic use of light helps to define different areas while maintaining a cohesive feel.

Pizza and Frends caters to diverse dining preferences by offering a variety of seating options. From high chairs for a quick bite to comfortable group seating and plush sofas for a more relaxed experience, the restaurant ensures guests can find their perfect spot.
 
The art wall located at the stairway, connecting both floors, serves as the focal point of the restaurant. This artistic centerpiece acts as a conversation starter and further underscores the unique juxtaposition of Stone Age elements with modern design principles. The Project took them only 5 Months from Concept to Completion.
 
In essence, Pizza and Frends offers a captivating and well-executed design experience that is both timeless and trendy.
