We were appointed to do this bare shell Penthouse for Bhakti and Gaurangi. Doctors by profession the clients had their unique preferences and choices. As we wanted the house to reflect their persona, we tried to have casual discussions so as to understand there creative side. Dr. Bhakti plays violin and loves to read in his leisure time. And Dr. Gaurangi who has been Mrs. India is a social person and also loves to read. Both are dog parents.

The name Arch house one will see arch doors, arches and curved surfaces/ wall punctures predominantly. The initial concept was to have a bold and feminine look, along with a slight tinge of Scandinavian decor. We wanted to explore and play with textures, materials, colors and light.

In the living room following a neoclassical theme, we have used bold colors with a neutral palette in the background. As this area of the house is occupied most of the time, we have tried to make it vibrant and welcoming. Furniture typically has exposed wood and metal structure, providing an outline of the shape. The upholstery used is high quality and texture.

In the master bedroom, there is a play of woods, grays and flutes giving it a classic theme. The vertical flutes and grooves make the space look bigger.

For Kids bedroom, we wanted to have a dash of colors to make the space playful and chirpy. As we wanted to have subtleness for the guest bedroom, we have majorly used light color palette. One will get Scandinavian themed vibes looking at the furniture details here. The peculiarity about the TV wall is that the bathroom door is flushed in the panel design.
