Nestled in Vadodara, The Quarter Shell is a 2-storeyed bungalow and home to a family of four. An earthy colour palette complimented by accented colours, and rustic finished walls find the equilibrium of sensitivities. The material palette interprets the brief to create clean and large-seeming spaces with birch plywood, accompanied by a dash of freshness from the jute mint upholstery, and the earthy statement rugs ooze authenticity.

With its shell encompassed in neutral tones, this space is elevated with a set of colourful cushions and indoor plants set a warm tone. Additionally, an intricately designed partition, with a pivot-dependent mechanism, makes way to customize this space between the common areas.

The son's bedroom on the first floor was reimagined by incorporating the balcony to create an undivided lounge and bedroom space. Wood-panelled slanted roof with grey concrete walls provides the client rustic-finesse combination along with views from the bay window that enhance the experience.

The Quarter Shell is focused on creating a minimal and contemporary home that personifies unpretentiousness and humility.
