The Soulful Sanctuary, a quaint, compact home, resides in the cultural capital of Gujarat, Vadodara. Integral to Indian craftsmanship, this home evokes a warm greeting with a contemporary wooden door against the idiosyncrasy of concrete walls. Walking through the spiritual entryway, you are engulfed with earthy shades of grey sprinkled with a vivid blue seating mat. Holding your senses to appreciate a striking resin artwork makes an impressive yet calming welcome to the home.

Distinguished by the monochrome geometric patterns, the recessed ceiling infuses an element of subtle drama that continues to the kitchen through the passageways to the bedrooms. The family room at the soulful sanctuary hosts an array of textures, patterns, and a crafty infusion of mid-century modern with abstract modernism. The striking brick wall gathers an aura of warmth and cosiness and adds a spatial depth with asymmetrical shades of terracotta. The versatility of the blue sofa paired with wooden end tables accentuated with bonsai greens symbolises a calming environment where one can relax and unwind.

An element that separates the living room from the dining room yet elegantly binds together the family time is the freestanding illustration. It consists of varying geometric motifs finished with cloudy grey that immaculately blends with the monochromatic colour palette of the home. Unique to the dining area, the fluted wall hosts a circular artwork with gritty grooves and a sparkling mirror reflecting the residents’ approach to opulent yet simplistic living. This celebration of neutrality in the dining space carries a sense of ceremony for the family and guests alike. Across the dining table is the heart of the home, the kitchen.

Seamless built-in cabinetry matching the existing colour palette provides ample storage while preserving the aesthetic of the modernist design—a professional range and chimney with an invisible hood anchor the subway-tiled wall. The kitchen exudes quiet modern luxury and a timeless aesthetic that suits the present-day paced-up lifestyle. The kitchen design is tailored to maximise every inch of space with concealed overhead storage to preserve the uncluttered look. We have used a mix of materials, including tinted glass; grooves for handles; absolutely no hardware; and a strongly veined stone countertop. This kitchen boldly exploits every last inch of space and makes the airy kitchen feel bespoke and premium.

The bedroom is the sanctuary that liberates you from the routine of a busy life, a place where you can rest your spirit and be yourself. So we saw this challenge as an opportunity to create a bedroom that can give the serenity and comfort one needs with an equal dose of luxury and aesthetic appeal.

An assemblage of marble on the wall, faux leather on the bed and the refreshing grey minimal wardrobe shutters sit in a well-composed ambience against the white headboard and side tables. To bring in the enchanting and relaxing atmosphere, the ambient soft backlit niches and under light from the ceiling help to bask in the alluring and luxuriously serene vibe. The upholstery focuses on contemporary takes, both in the shapes of the furniture and on the Patterns and gradient colours in the fabric giving a sense of finesse to the bedroom and reading the bedroom like a confident statement.

Interiors of the room can go a long way in the overall development of our child’s behavioural traits, academic performance, creative skills, and cognitive abilities. And it can even help mould the personality and individuality of the child. Tailored to the child's likes, the room is swathed in sage green with some pops of mustard that invoke a sense of individualistic personality and the child's playful nature. The uncluttered minimal design allows the staggered bunk beds to become the focal point, the small planter fuses the space with an element of biophilia, and the circular mirror overlapped with the colour block wall adds a bit of drama to the kids' room.

The master bedroom design that exhibits the timeless beauty of the marble feature wall grants the perfect opportunity to display the resident’s tastes and preferences. Merging sophistication with the vertical and horizontal grooves and the monotone fluted walls with soft furnishings on the bed represent the various textures that evoke a sense of relaxation. An oversized vase with exceptional dry decor envelops the room in a modest balance of Scandinavian and modernist interior design. The resting place is all about luxurious design, glamorous details, and calming atmospheres.

Sophisticated yet simple, the soulful sanctuary design takes inspiration from modernism, which reflects a unified approach to life. Its foundation, the modern design style, is a sleek and uncluttered style known to be put together through various colour palettes, styles, furniture arrangements, and decorative accents. These refined and upscale aesthetics are derived from clean lines, personal statement pieces, and the overall sense of comfort and elegance when we utilise a contemporary luxury aesthetic in our home interiors.
