THE STRETCH by Ahanas design for space

Spread over 1.5 acres of land with a built-up area of 15,000 square feet, this house truly STRETCHes out in every direction. The land was barren with less vegetation just like a blank slate for us to make something beautiful out of it. The client wanted the home to have huge shared spaces for family and friends along with private intimate spaces for making more close-knit memories. 

The interior furniture was customized and made with the timbre available at the client’s timbre mill by adopting simple, clean-line carpentry. The house is a combination of contemporary design and antique decor elements giving the house a sense of warmth and comfort. The very specific brief about the landscape needing separation from the main house Led us to Create big open windows facing outside instead of courtyards to bring in openness and daylight throughout the house. All of these carefully placed elements and elongated spaces make it ‘THE STRETCH’.
