Delicately merging different styles,"Tirthvilla" is an adobe designed for a doctor couple who wanted a house which was very practical yet aesthetic. This house is based in Vadodara, “Tirth Villa" which is planned in such a way that it has a spacious and open planning on ‘Contemporary Transitional Style’. "Tirthvilla"is a fusion of different styles where synthesis of contemporary style and traditional elements arecomplimented with the Boho-chic style. This fusion gives a transitional classy touch where the story of patterns, colours, materials is accomplished.  Primary language in this home itself is its softness and light colours. The main design concept revolved around the client's requirement of spacious and open planning which needed to be very practical yet aesthetic. The personality and requirements and each individual's personal taste is finely transitioned in each and every space.

The entrance itself has some beautiful designs. The use of materials like Kota stone for the flooring and the exposed brick wall brings out the wooden custom made artwork on the wall and the antique wooden artwork that is mounted on the ceiling. The hanging lamp also brings the focus to the antique wooden  artwork. Another interesting element before entering the home is the main door's brass handle which is custom made. The brass handle pops out against the green dyed veneer which is used for the main door. On entering living area, the wall with micro- concrete finish behind the sofa greets the person with some custom made wall murals of brass, resin and stone. The use of neutral tones in the living room highlights the wooden ceiling which leads a person's eye to the patio and eventually to the garden. Inside the kitchen the granite used for the counter is used for the walls as well. The dining room has a trendy cane work furniture with a touch of brass legs. The space is draped in sheer curtains from floor to ceiling allow the sun to  filter its daylight in a soft glow. The custom made swing and its bold red back wall with a touch of Indian fabric artwork becomes the heart of the house connecting all the spaces together. The design of the stairway leading to the upper floors does not have riser which allows the light to enter the space freely through the glass facade. In master bedroom, the elegant poster bed is highlighted with the use of beautiful veneer and the pop design on the wall behind it. The use of Italian marble in the flooring further emphasizes the beauty of the poster bed. The pastel shades of peach and green are used in the daughter's room where the pastel shades are complimented with grey dyed veneer and wooden flooring.
