We are from Iran. We studied architecture at university and have worked together as an architecture group for 5 years.
We believe, Architecture is, finding the creative solution for uncertain problems which are redefined by architecture in the design process. Both of us consider space as one of the most important parts of architecture which can have a strong effect on people.

We have worked together as a professional architecture group for 5 years. And have designed several projects and received some awards. The Second prize of designing an official building (Baris official building) in Iran. The second prize of designing cultural center of Hamedan design in Iran. Q-What advice would you give to individuals who struggle to decide whether it would be beneficial for them to participate in architecture vision competitions?

Both of us consider architecture competition as the best platform for practicing architecture design.it can keep our mind fresh and develop thinking abilities, we are learning a lot from these challenges, thinking about various subjects and also comparing ourselves and our ability with the world.

Q-What were the challenges you faced while designing for such architectural space?

The most challenging issue in this project for us was how architecture can be a part of nature not be against it or dominate it. the second issue was how architecture is sufficient and suitable for living on a small scale.

Q-What was your thought process while designing for the Tree House Architecture Competition?

At first, we thought about which potentials of a tree as the context of the project, can redefine and specify house .according to our childhood experience when we walked and stayed on the branches, the different levels and different views were the distinguishing points. In the next step, we developed our project based on this idea.

Q-What attracted you to this competition?

Both of us are interested in house design because it is related to the human and dream of life. The treehouse can be more and more innovative due to its connection with nature.

Q-Where does your interest in design come from?

Designing is about the ideas, it is the mental work that can change, improve and redefine the generic view of life and move the boundaries.

Q- What design fundamentals do you believe in?

Nothing is fixed. It is important to look at the design issue from a new perspective and be extreme about your ideas.

Q-What were your references/ inspiration?

In this project, our childhood experience and its dreams were inspiring.

Q-Which aspects of a design do you focus on more during designing?

We are focusing on all parts of the design process, from strategic decisions and ideas to developing form, we are going forward and back constantly to integrate all parts of the design. Of course, we are more obsessive in making ideas at the first level.

Q-What according to you is the key to making your design a success?

Certainly, there is no absolute success but if we want to specify our more successful projects, our basis is on how it is more successful in defining new viewpoints to subject and moving current boundaries.

Q-Which tools do you use during design? What is inside your toolbox? Such as software, application, hardware, books, sources of inspiration, etc.?

Depending on a project our tools are different. The design process for us is mental, and tools help us to connect more and more to our mental issues. We are starting from sketching and drawing for understanding the context and design subject and their problems and also forming the ideas, then in developing process we are using computer software or physical models. The software which was used in this project were: auto cad, rhinoceros, adobe Photoshop, illustrator, and Vray for3dmax.
