Biophilic architecture for the house, invites for therapeutic benefits of incorporating pockets of greenery in spatial design. It encourages one to evolve within natural settings.

Spanning 125 sq mt. this house in Vadodara, stands out for its organic sculpted façade and form. The clients, wanted a house that fulfils their bond of staying connected internally through connections and unfold into building into an art form. The house is conceptualised as 3 – storey building, weaving the patterns from brick work, interpreting curvilinear geometry. It orients the common shared spaces like, triple height living room, kitchen with dining and multipurpose room on the ground level. While, the private areas lead on the first floor and SF floor welcomes one to the relaxing open terrace with 2 more bedrooms. 

Celebrating Brick in Architecture, orients to the sustainable factor, crafted with skilled labours, adding to characteristic element to this house. The visual interplay of bricks layering, on textured surface, captures the shifting of sun rays throughout the day, making it a dynamic element. It transforms the façade into a living canvas of brick art. Seamlessly joineries, articulate the brick detailing for building mass at junctions. 

The volumes for the house, carve, play of fluid geometry at various height levels. Each surface creates a pocket of overlooking functions as fun interactive façade. Orienting of these curves one above the other in various proportions, excite one to view from all sides, to capture its parametric curves. The façade also enhances the privacy of open terrace spaces through thoughtfully placed fenestrations, while a shaded gazebo offers a comfortable sit-out area for relaxation.

Upon entering the house, one is greeted by a soaring triple-height living room, where an artistic staircase ascends gracefully in the backdrop. Blending of these 2 functions, details how circulation form and flow in architecture meets art in harmony. Using of wooden palette with textured laminates, colours and wallpapers, marks in the interiors for this house. Organic silhouettes of various motifs and free forms, let the concept of curves flowing inside the house in furniture detail.

All private spaces, including the bedrooms with their en-suite bathrooms, are designed with tiles as the dominant element, complemented by balancing the infusion of wooden tones. The thoughtful selection of hues and textures in each space creates an atmosphere of luxurious relaxation.

Each bedroom has different craft story to tell, from tile clads on wall with wood panelling that enhances spatial ambience and character being a focal point. 

Bathrooms have incorporated the concept of walk-in wardrobes covered in concepts of fluted and laminated weaved surfaces. Art relates beautifully even in these daily activities zones, making it an interpretations of resort type of bathing experience, with pergola themed ceilings or warm shades.

On the second floor, 2 bedrooms are planned, where one of the Master Bedrooms and passage, connects to an open terrace as a retreat access. This invites contemporary style living, which features some peaceful communication with nature.

This house blends free flowing geometry, carved from built mass to open layout planning internally. The open pockets and volumes at different heights, invite interaction and connection with nature through corners designed as terrace gardens.
