A Warm, Curated Home Designed for Real Living

Step into this thoughtfully crafted two-bedroom apartment, designed for a couple and their teenage daughter. From the very first moment, the home signals its purpose: to feel deeply personal and warm never staged, never sterile, and certainly never like a hotel.

The living area sets the tone with a sculptural, wave-inspired TV panel and bar unit. Finished in a refined copper-toned metal with PU-coated shutters, its gentle curvature brings movement to the space, creating a focal element that is as functional as it is artistic. Nearby, a compact Mandir unit sits in the northeast corner, seamlessly integrated with essential utilities and thoughtfully positioned beside the electrical panel - an elegant balance of spirituality and practicality.

In keeping with the family’s traditions, the home also accommodates their annual two day Ganesh Ji celebration. A temporary festive setup is placed in the living area, glowing beautifully against an arched ceiling detail and a striking installation of nine backlit circular mirrors. The result is a serene and atmospheric vignette that honors both Vastu principles and the family’s cultural heritage.

The kitchen continues the home’s commitment to simplicity and warmth. A slab countertop paired with a matching backsplash creates a seamless surface that visually expands the space, bringing clarity and a clean, minimal aesthetic. Below the platform, cabinets are detailed with trims and wrapped in a wood-finished membrane, adding natural warmth and grounding. In contrast, the overhead cabinets feature the same trim detail but are finished in an ivory-toned membrane striking a perfect balance between neutrality and coziness. The result is a kitchen that feels contemporary yet inviting, and perfectly suited for daily family life.

The daughter’s bedroom shifts the narrative to something softer and more whimsical. A circular ceiling detail and arched headboard panel introduce a gentle, cocoon-like geometry. A custom curved cabinet and study table maintain the sense of playfulness while ensuring the room remains highly functional and organised perfectly suited to a teenager’s evolving needs.

The primary bedroom opens up to expansive views of the city skyline. Bathed in natural light, the calm, neutral palette enhances the tranquillity of the space, offering a quiet retreat for the couple. The simplicity is intentional this room prioritises rest, clarity, and connection to the world outside.

Across the home, a cohesive material story ties everything together: warm finishes, natural textures, and soft curves that repeat subtly from space to space. The palette feels serene yet grounded, creating an environment that is intuitive to live in and deeply reflective of the people who call it home.

This apartment is not just designed it’s curated to be lived in, loved, and continually shaped by the family who inhabits it.
