This 2500 sq. Ft apartment residence transformed into a culturally rooted home tailored to the needs of a joint family is nestled in Ahmedabad , Gujarat . This residence is a testament to contemporary design and rich cultured living. It is designed with a keen eye for aesthetics. Hence the house blends modern and traditional Indian elements with natural materials, creating a space that is exquisitely warm and inviting. The open floor plan features vibrant artwork and a blend of modern and traditional furnishings. Wooden intricate carving furniture with metal accents adds a touch of luxury, this elevates the space with a unique blend of art and functionality. The bedroom instills a contemporary look with a traditional style, highlighted by arches in balconies, bedrooms, foyer area, and carvings in wooden & Italian marble, along with curved ceilings in passages. Deliberately crafted with a harmonious interplay that reflects the rich heritage of India.

The entry area is imbued with a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere, achieved through a neutral color scheme featuring shades of beige, brown, and white. The sense of calm and peace begins in the foyer, where visitors are welcomed by arched doorways and hand-painted artwork adorning the walls. To enhance the space, vibrant accents in red and green are incorporated into the wall design. The walls exude a hospitable charm, embellished with exquisite murals that celebrate nature, birds, and trees, fostering a connection to the traditions and rich heritage of India. To provide warmth and texture, natural materials such as marble and wood are utilized, complemented by soft, diffused lighting in the entry foyer. Decorative elements instill to a narrative of history and culture within the space.

A thoughtful interplay between sophistication and simplicity is seen in this space. A place where most of our time is spent. The splash of blues and browns in the neutral space with wooden carved artwork in the backdrop, spilling over onto the furniture and ceiling infuses the space with a sense of peace and harmony. A beautifully handcrafted center table along the gray grounds is the center attraction. The soft ambient lighting enhances the beauty of the space, making it a perfect addition to the exquisitely crafted area. The intricate detailing on wooden lines and vibrant colors bring a sense of warmth and cultural ethnicity to the space.

The olive green bed, featuring custom-crafted intricate legs, is positioned against a marble wall, establishing a serene sanctuary. To add a touch of comfort, a blue sofa is situated near the TV unit, forming a welcoming and relaxing nook. The headboard, along with the bed's details and bedside tables, incorporates vertical grooves that foster a unified sense of spaciousness. A recessed wall and a storage console adjacent to the bed further enhance the room's practicality. The soft illumination from the lighting, combined with track lighting and a wooden ceiling, creates a seamless transition from the walls to the ceiling. Within a seemingly unique and somber canvas of blue walls and gray floor, an unusual hue of wooden ceiling erupts intermittently into the space with a flow against an otherwise cool gray, outside as one of the main highlights. The arches are beautifully placed behind the bed, in the mirror, beside the TV cabinet, and on the wardrobe. This nurtures the space and brings a sense of versatility and contemporary space. The arched panels add elegance and a soothing effect by veiling the windows with light gray curtains. The bedroom is a serene oasis of relaxation with a neutral color palette and an upholstered bed framed by wood, exuding luxury.

The design embodies a distinct blend of styles. The room features a predominantly dark and moody color scheme with charcoal gray walls and a contrasting ceiling with hues of brown wooden strips.
