The exterior design showcases a harmonious blend of terracotta and brick jali, replicating the enchanting effect of dappled sunlight and providing both privacy and aesthetic appeal. The double-storied open planning concept, coupled with a strategically positioned northern light truss, not only welcomes the soothing northern sunlight but also creates a luminous and interconnected living space.

Emphasizing sustainability, the design prioritizes cross ventilation, promoting natural airflow and reducing the reliance on artificial cooling systems. In alignment with Kerala's rich cultural heritage, the use of locally sourced materials and the integration of traditional architectural elements reflect a commitment to preserving the region's authenticity. In the architectural design process of this building, a North Light Truss Roof takes center stage, strategically positioned to capture maximum indirect sunlight and illuminate the interior with natural light. This thoughtful integration of design elements not only enhances the aesthetics but also underscores a commitment to creating a harmonious and energy-efficient environment within the structure.

The incorporation of double-height volumes and an open-plan layout plays a pivotal role in promoting passive HVAC systems. The expansive interior allows rising hot air to dissipate through strategically placed openings at multiple levels aligned with the prevailing wind direction, facilitating the welcoming of fresh air into the space, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere.
