Nestled in the heart of Khar, Mumbai, Patel Palacio by @darsonsdesigntech is a refined lens of warmth, purpose, and mid-century modern elegance. Envisioned by principal designer Hormuzd Daruwalla and project lead Vaishnavi Singh, the design intent was to create a space that balances sophistication with comfort—a home that not only celebrates material richness but also embraces everyday living with ease. Every element was thoughtfully curated to reflect the client’s lifestyle, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic rooted in simplicity and elegance.

The residence also houses three distinct bedrooms—the master, the grandmother’s, and the son’s—each designed with its own identity yet unified by a modern design language. The living and dining area evolves in calming hues of walnut, white, and warm neutrals, where exotic Brazilian marble details, a handcrafted rug, a textured PU stone wall, and bespoke furniture pieces are all seamlessly woven into the design narrative—quiet luxury at its best.

One part of the living room also features an entertainment zone that effortlessly transforms into a restful guest bedroom, thanks to the custom murphy bed ingeniously snuggled within storage cabinetry.

"Patel Palacio" ultimately stands as a home that transcends trends, embodying a narrative of understated luxury—where beauty meets purpose, and where every detail is designed to be lived in.
