“Shivoham” is a thoughtfully designed private residence that celebrates nature, memory, and spatial harmony. Located in Irinjalakuda, the 7,200 sq. ft. home is conceived as a seamless blend of architecture and landscape, emphasizing a strong connection between built spaces and the natural environment.

The core concept of the design revolves around nature-connected living, achieved through a series of indoor courtyards that bring light, air, and greenery deep into the home. The planning strategy is uniquely centered around an existing old mango tree, which held deep emotional value for the client and their parents. Rather than removing it, the house is carefully designed around the tree, allowing it to become the heart of the residence and a living symbol of continuity and belonging.

Architecturally, the residence adopts a fusion of traditional and tropical styles, responding sensitively to the local climate and cultural context. Open layouts, shaded transitions, courtyards, and verandah-like spaces ensure ample natural daylight and cross ventilation, creating comfortable and energy-efficient interiors.
