The project is a renovation of a 40-year-old institutional building located in South Bengaluru. Retaining the existing building shell, the intervention transforms the structure into a child-centric learning environment while respecting its architectural character. The primary objective was to strengthen the building structurally and reimagine classrooms to align with contemporary educational practices. 

The design integrates flexible learning spaces, including seating galleries that encourage collaboration, creativity, and independent thinking. Boundary walls were restructured to introduce a sense of openness and playfulness, improving visual connectivity and spatial flow across the campus. A strong emphasis was placed on adaptive reuse.

Most existing materials were carefully restored and reinterpreted, minimizing wastage during execution. This approach not only reduced environmental impact but also ensured the project remained budget-conscious without compromising design quality.
