The Brick Loft was designed with doggos at heart. Located in Bangalore, it is a pawfect blend of Barkitecture and Sustainability. Created for Manssi Vedhya Karambelkar, founder of Doggiliciouus, it is a home, office and production unit which combines a minimal, rustic aesthetic with pet-friendly features. 

High ceilings and large windows allow for plenty of sunlight and ample ventilation. Consultation rooms have been designed to lead to open, outdoor spaces for walks, and the spacious spa-like bathrooms provide comfort for both the pets and their parents. 

All of the materials used in construction have been carefully handpicked to ensure that they are not only easy to maintain and durable to weather, wear and tear from playful pets, but sustainable and cost-effective as well. Exposed brick and unpolished Kota stone envelop the space. The stone floors are repurposed from broken, unsized kota to create carefully laid yet rugged, slip-resistant, pet-friendly flooring. Thrifted doors and windows, repurposed wood, and discarded crates were used to make pet-accessible, low-profile furniture. The result is a stylish, rustic home and office space that ensures utmost comfort 
for all its family members- furry ones first and foremost.
