Atri is broadened on a plot area of 4180 sq. ft. with a built-up area of 5525 sq. ft. It is an individual, north-facing residence with two sides of a 7.5 m wide road. The client's well-founded belief in Vastu Shastra governed the planning and the spatial organization of the house. The minimalist and classy interiors uphold the charm of the house in all corners. A wide range of artifacts ornament the interiors.
The front façade was firstly divided into a grid of 3x3; further, the grid was pushed and pulled to give a proper cubic experience; then, the structure was included in the design, which helped in making elongated masses and frames. The backside elevation was kept very simple. The balconies all around the house assisted in illuminating the elevations.
The ground floor incorporates a parking space; Free-flowing space right from an entry foyer opens into a living room-dining space separated by a partition of wooden frame and CNC-cut metal jali, Puja room is delightfully done with spiritual shlok and symbol of Om carved on backlit wooden plate. The kitchen has soft muted tones and natural materials for a warm feel. The contemporary bedroom on the ground floor is designed with soft textures, modest furniture and large windows.
Proceeding to the first floor, there is a fabulous and restful master bedroom characterized by smooth and clean design. Natural light makes the room lively and feels fresh and relaxing along with wide balcony. Other two bedrooms with individual balconies have a significant color palette for particular users, depicting their distinctive personalities and a common informal living space.
Approaching the second floor, there is a magnificent home theatre with open able panels, along with a home office and a guest bedroom with neutral tones for comfort, and an informal living space with entryway to an open terrace.
