B-77 Villa is an east-facing residence conceived as a study in light, landscape and movement, where the experience of the home unfolds through a series of interconnected spaces rather than as a collection of enclosed rooms. Set within a generous 14,400 sft site, the 47' × 51' built footprint is organised to create a layered relationship between the built form, landscaped edges and open-to-sky spaces.

The planning establishes a clear progression from shared family spaces to more private zones, while maintaining visual and spatial connections across the house. The ground floor forms the social heart of the residence, bringing together the foyer, family living, dining and kitchen, along with two bedrooms. At its centre, the double-height puja space introduces a moment of vertical openness, becoming a visual and spatial anchor to the plan. This vertical connection allows light and volume to penetrate deeper into the house, giving the relatively compact built footprint a greater sense of openness.

The first floor moves towards a more intimate family realm, with a family living space, guest and master bedrooms, walk-in wardrobe and private outdoor spaces. Rather than treating balconies and terraces as residual extensions, they are integrated into the circulation and everyday life of the house. These spaces become pauses within the movement through the residence—places to sit, look out, and reconnect with the landscape.

Landscape is consequently woven into the architecture rather than positioned around it. The first-floor landscape pod, adjoining the family living area, is enclosed by an MS grill screen that works as a secondary skin. The screen filters light and views while maintaining visual permeability between the interior and the garden. It creates a softer threshold between the protected interior and the open landscape, allowing greenery to become an integral part of the everyday experience.

The balconies, terraces and landscaped edges continue this dialogue across the house. Each outdoor space is conceived as an extension of the adjoining room, creating moments where inside and outside begin to overlap.

The material palette follows a restrained and timeless approach, allowing the architecture, light and landscape to take precedence. Kota stone flooring establishes a natural, tactile base across the interiors, bringing warmth and continuity to the spaces. The material language is deliberately understated, allowing changing daylight, vegetation and shadow to continually alter the character of the house.
