Between Form & Void is a 1,200 sq. ft. home décor and artefact store in Nagpur, conceived as a tactile retail environment where architecture becomes a frame for objects, craft, and curated displays. The interior is developed around a language of soft geometry, repeated arches, recessed niches, and seamless textured surfaces. Rather than treating display as an added element, the artefacts are integrated into the architecture through a series of sculptural niches that create rhythm, depth, and moments of pause throughout the space.  

A warm, earthy material palette establishes a calm and cohesive atmosphere, while wood, textured surfaces, glass shelving, and subtle metallic accents introduce contrast and visual warmth. The repetition of arched openings creates continuity across the store, transforming the display wall into an architectural feature.

The design intentionally balances form and void — solid walls are carved into recesses, objects occupy carefully composed pockets of space, and light moves across the textured surfaces to reveal subtle variations in depth and materiality. The result is a quiet, immersive retail experience where architecture and merchandise exist as one composition, allowing each artefact to become part of the spatial narrative.
