For 25 years, FIMA has been a system integrator, designing intelligent engineering systems and tailor-made solutions to drive better results. FIMA comes in the top 5 list in designer faucets category. The family is exploring the faucet industry from 2 generations now. They wanted to expand their business more towards the luxury segment and hence are dealing with high end premium design luxury range faucets after all these years.

The most essential part of the showroom design was to create a place where everyone can feel welcome and comfortable " be it architects, designers or home renovators. It had to be a space where people can enjoy the decision-making process and allow us to guide them through their options easily, so they can create exactly what they what " their dream bathroom!

We created a space more akin to a high-end retail store, or gallery space, whilst maintaining an environment which encourages collaboration and creative exploration. The interior design compliments and enhances the brand through innovative use of simple materials and colors, celebrating the everyday object.

Nowhere is the marriage between form and function more apparent than in faucets. Faucets are not only practical but can also be pieces of art. The minimal design of the display shelves bring out the industrial character of the showroom yet keeping it very light. The play of shadows by the lighting fixtures creates unique patterns on the originally blank walls. Their idea of celebrating the everyday product is fulfilled in complete terms with these unique display ideas.


The color palette used at the reception is set to make a mark at first sight. The bright red backdrop for the framed reception table is in complete harmony with the palette of the brand and the showroom. The client was looking for an interior design that would complement the colors of the brand, hence subtle grey tones and textures with the bright red elements have been used.


The monotony of the M.S framed shelves is broken by the hanging paneled partitions which create different zones for different kinds of products. The idea of hanging them from the ceiling is to keep the floor space free and clear from obstructions to make the showroom look lighter and bigger.


The palette, inspired by industrial materials and colors of the brand, creates a balance between the raw and refined and the cool with the warm. Segregation is made through color use while keeping the design of the showroom in harmony. The levels of the display have been carefully derived to make it easy for the customers to look and choose the products. The red shelves on the black wall itself standout and enhance the display of the products. Diffused spotlights are used to highlight specific products.


It was essential to the design of the project, that the space does not feel stark or over scaled. The displays were hanged a little above the ground to keep the floor space free and open and also bring the products near to the eye level.


Monolithic elements are juxtaposed against smaller, repetitious elements which work to balance into an easy relationship. The free floor space gives the showroom a lighter feel. To keep focus only on the products, their background was kept white, while everything else was black. Spot lights were added to enhance the look of the showroom as well as the product.


Maximalism is an evolving term and in today's context, it has become a product display that evokes glamour and opulence. It can be minimal in shape in one respect but made maximalist by its finish or hue. The use of minimalistic metal bars creates a light volume and room for the product to breathe while the grey textured board gives a background whilst also acting as a partition.


A harmonic consonance is seen in the materials and color palette inside the showroom. The dark color palette of the showroom brings out the wooden display created for various products. The display also seconds as a mural on the wall.


A diffused focus light has been fixed above a podium display. This emphasizes the product and looks more inviting. A balance is created between the raw and the refined by creating a raw frame for the light and a sleek podium for the display. Also, the grey and black interiors sit harmoniously with the product range.


With a design emphasis on materials used within a home, each space provokes the feeling of play, light, texture and form by utilizing modern materials like M.S strips and timber. This results in a mixture of unique materials such as leathered granite, teak wood flooring, steel, and custom lighting throughout.


A contemporary feel with nice dark tones was used to enjoy a nice and relaxing soak in the bath concept. The use of red color celebrates the simple everyday object as a unique masterpiece oozing opulence at every step of design. A design concept, as simple as hanging them from the ceiling, works out as a practical as well as an aesthetic solution for high-end showrooms like these.


From coast to coast, a rapid shift in faucet display style can be seen within the market moving away from traditional styles and towards contemporary silhouettes and finishes. This wooden shelf design has been specifically designed for the special traditional faucet series of the brand giving this corner of the showroom a break from the industrial design yet maintaining the contemporary style.
