Seeking solace in urban living, this 8000 sq. ft. residence is spiralled around the idea of understated & humble interiors while aiming to redefine luxury. The existing dark and dingy structure was punctured with multiple openings in order to bring in more natural light and enhance the well being of the users. The layout focuses on enhancing an array of maximised sunlight and cross ventilation.

Similar to an interactive interlace of the spatial yarn, the spaces connect each other like a fractal, forming a seamless transition and defining easy movement between all the public spaces, while allowing the user to utilise all the spaces without any hesitation. The design aims to bring the family of 4 to communicate through these liminal spaces which act as conjecture of ease.

Stairways are central to access and mobility within a space, and yet, they often take a backseat to other elements of design within a work of architecture. However, this utilitarian part of the home is designed to become a show stopping piece and focal point for the residence.  It acts as a conversation starter and creates a statement through its form.

Stairways are central to access and mobility within a space, and yet, they often take a backseat to other elements of design within a work of architecture. However, this utilitarian part of the home can become the most show stopping piece to an interior design, using imagination and calculation.

Spiralled around an already existing structure, and with the idea of understated & humble interiors, The House of Metamorphosis aims to redefine luxury and leaves an everlasting impact due to the statement it creates through its form. The light is diffused and balanced out through using dark materials, while an extensive wood adds warmth & harmony in the entire space.

The design scheme in each area has a distinct vocabulary. While the social spaces are an outcome of collective aspirations, the design of each private space is a reflection of the user's needs & preferences hence the colour palette revolves around a combination of deep colours, use of dark veneers for doors and neutral colours, creating a sense of harmony in the interior space.
