Kavani- The Bridal Abode by PRAJC Architecture

The client wanted to revive the 50 year-old house and convert it into a retail shop that reflected the traditional roots of the brand and the history of the place.

The concept revolved in our inspiration to reflect the longstanding stories of the place. While retaining the main structure of the house as it is, we hoped to bring a contemporary outlook of today in the interiors. Our primary aim was to understand the structure and personify the stories of the time that it may have withstood. In the linkage that balances tradition and modernity in a 1000 sq.ft space, we played with colors, textures, exclusive furniture design and a language very unique to the brand.
