The house is situated on a larger plot that also includes the family home and the homes of the client's brothers, reflecting a lifestyle centered around togetherness and frequent family and social gatherings. The design aims to address the need for adaptability and flexibility required by varying degrees of sharedness.

The residence features two distinct courtyards—a prominent entrance court and a secondary family court—that harmoniously integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a seamless blend of nature and built environment. The elevated entrance court is framed by two volumes, one housing guest space and the other personal quarters. A shaded passage accentuates the court and the home's entrance.

The personal and guest quarters form an L-shape, connected by a central family living space and flanked by the two courtyards on either side, ensuring ample ventilation and natural light. Long overhangs provide shade from the extremes of the tropical climate, while supporting columns enhance the scale and rhythm of the architecture.

Careful use of architectural thresholds facilitates a smooth transition between different areas of the house, guiding the progression from communal spaces to private quarters. The design of the double courtyards offers flexibility for social gatherings of various scales and purposes, making the residence adaptable for diverse occasions and needs. This thoughtful approach enhances the functionality and versatility of the home, catering to the dynamic lifestyle of the clients.
