The project sits on high-altitude landscape with challenging slopes, the idea was a staggered layout to minimize disruption to the natural landscape. To address this, The building splits into three main levels that connected by ramp and stairs, living and dining area sit at the top floor (3rd) with panoramic views of the city, while ground floor (2nd) facilitates main entrance and top bedrooms, and lower ground floor (1st) was dedicated for the loft-style bedrooms and recreational space, all of that staggered down into an amphitheatre, forming a serene oasis of swimming pool, greenery and tall trees.

Philanto house passive design initiatives were accommodated by constant cross airflow from windows, lower grills, and louvre that disguised as an aesthetic element of the house. An extensive canopy were also designed in response to the intense sunlight, shading most of the building interior, and mildly shade semi outdoor landscapes and vegetation. The landscapes maintained as close as the natural characteristics, providing a micro ecosystem for the house.

The play of material selection, the dialogue between cold and firm ambience of concrete and steel, juxtaposed with warmth of wood furnitures, and rattan in the interior and exterior, forming a balance of composition in the project.
