Philip's Home by Dream Infinite Studio

PHILIP'S HOME is a single-storied residence located at Kaduthuruthy, a pilgrim town of Kottayam. A home is a perfectly Blended cocktail where emotions, conversations and activities are united with a topping of comfort and relaxation. The idea was to create a combination of activity spaces rather than labeled rooms,  holding the essence of togetherness.   

 

The process of developing the project included creating gathering spaces in between utility spaces as a bridge, fusing tropical elements and modern materials. Light and Ventilation are also considered as part of the family in the design process. The design style followed was a tropical modernist style including traditional concepts of courtyards and nature-friendly design elements. The rooms which need privacy were placed well by placing connecting green spaces in between. The outward-looking arrangement of interior spaces connects nature to attain a state of harmony.
