Set on a compact 4-cent plot in Karaparamba, Calicut, this 1,750 sq. ft. residence demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform spatial constraints into opportunities. With three sides of the site exposed to roads, the challenge of limited land utilization was addressed through a highly optimized layout that balances functionality with aesthetic appeal.

The ground floor features a bedroom with an attached toilet, a welcoming sit-out, a living area, dining space with a small courtyard, an open kitchen, a stairway, and provisions for a future work area. The first floor accommodates two bedrooms with attached toilets, an upper living space, study area, pooja room, and a balcony. A compact terrace floor includes a stair room with access to the terrace, designed to host small gatherings.

Large windows and skylight openings ensure abundant natural light and ventilation, while every corner of the home is efficiently planned to make the most of the limited plot. Blending functionality with a contemporary aesthetic, this residence offers a comfortable and well-balanced living environment in the heart of Calicut.
