Perched atop a four-story building in Koramangala, this 1,500 sq. ft. prefabricated residence showcases cutting-edge modular construction and sustainable design strategies. The home includes two bedrooms, a dedicated study, and a carefully planned living area, enriched by thoughtful spatial design and volumetric variation.

The structure employs a pre-engineered framework consisting of vertical galvanized iron (GI) sections securely anchored to the existing terrace slab. This framework is reinforced with precisely engineered bracings and horizontal supports, creating a durable structural grid. High-performance, pre-finished wall and roofing panels are installed over this framework, enabling swift assembly and minimizing on-site disruption.

Thermal comfort is ensured through the use of glass wool insulation within the wall panels, effectively reducing heat transfer and improving acoustic performance. The architectural design is defined by a gable roof, which enhances interior spaces with varying ceiling heights and promotes an airy, open atmosphere. The interplay of sloped roofs and vertical walls creates a dynamic living environment filled with natural light and a sense of spatial fluidity.

Impressively, the construction, including the interiors, was completed in just 90 days, emphasizing the efficiency of prefabricated construction methods. This project exemplifies the potential of lightweight, modular construction techniques to create sustainable, visually appealing, and contextually relevant homes.
