SUGHOSHA - The Bespoke House by Illusion Architecture

An energy-efficient house with maximum privacy without compromising on natural light and ventilation was the key design concept of this residential project in Kochi, Kerala. The two-storey residence is designed as a simple form with the upper GFRC-clad cuboid shape predominating the facade. This cuboid jalli protects the inner habitable areas from direct sun and rain but permits ample light and ventilation and, at the same time provides complete privacy to the residents. Interiors are designed as an amalgamation of tropical and Scandinavian styles. The neutral color palette, natural accessories, tropical plants, and minimal furniture create a cool and relaxed space within the home, rendering a resort-like feel for this house.
