Welcome to “The Arcadia“, a 2700-square-foot residence thoughtfully designed to blend function, aesthetics, and sustainability. Set on a south-facing 40 by 60-foot plot, “The Arcadia” exemplifies an architectural approach that elevates daily living while respecting the environment. The design concept centers around three dominant planes that define the structure and frame the spaces, creating a harmonious flow between indoors and outdoors. These planes guide movement, capture natural light, and strategically frame views, balancing privacy with openness. This layout enhances spatial connectivity, allowing residents to move seamlessly from one area to another while enjoying a cohesive and balanced environment.

The functional layout places service areas like staircases and toilets on the western side to reduce their impact on the main living spaces and block the harsh western sunlight. Core areas, such as the living room, dining room, and bedrooms, occupy the central part of the home, optimizing comfort and accessibility. 

Natural light and ventilation are essential to “The Arcadia’s” design. Expansive windows on the eastern side flood the interiors with soft, inviting light, creating a serene atmosphere that connects residents with the outdoors. This design promotes a sense of tranquility and well-being by blending natural elements into the living spaces.

Sustainability lies at the core of “The Arcadia’s” vision. Passive cooling strategies and renewable energy solutions minimize environmental impact and enhance energy efficiency. By positioning the staircase on the western side, the design leverages the stack effect for natural ventilation, reducing reliance on air conditioning and contributing to significant energy savings.

Unique elements like the circular foyer opening overlooking a tranquil therapy area encourage moments of introspection. Upstairs, a terrace with exposed brick finishes serves as a peaceful retreat, where light and shadow interplay to create a calming atmosphere.Crafted in elegant grey and white tones with cement lime finishes, “The Arcadia” exudes timeless sophistication. Every detail of this residence has been curated to offer a sanctuary of beauty, comfort, and sustainability—an ideal space for holistic living in the heart of the city.
