The residence is sensitively designed and compatible with the neighborhood. Distinct from neighbouring structures, the building creates a strong relationship to the streets by virtue of its large windows in facades. While there are dramatic and larger scale elements that define the building, it is also broken down into comprehensible human scale blocks according to the functions. Each piece of the building is a strong and clearly defined shape creating visual contrast between exposed bricks, exposed concrete and green areas as well as glass windows. The entrance here is created in a way that light peeps from the stairway and creates a visual path leading towards the living area.

The staircase is made from wood and glass. Each building element is intended to read as an abstract form in itself-such as a window becoming a slit or windows becoming a framed box, while also becoming part of a larger whole. Having the ability to transform the living space is the most successful aspect of the design.

It's not just opening a window or door system - it's turning this whole structure into a screened-in porch. The use of the concrete in the ceiling is imposing in the residential project, along with the 45-degree angle stripe pattern. The use of the built-in screens multiple times every day and say that the quality of both the design and engineering of Centre doors and screens are clear to see.

The artwork plays a vital role, inspired from the le- Corbusier work along with the use of disparate fabrics that makes the art work more visually appealing in the master bedroom. The Leather bed back, shows the traditional concept pattern of "taana baana" which connects with the exposed concrete ceiling, also known as the rustic interiors, along with the side Tables with the Italian Finish complements the entire details of the space. The vertical patterns all over the residence along with the vivid materials are the vital identity in the Residence.

This villa project was designed to sit comfortably within the community, yet carve out a distinct identity through materiality and scale. The built-form pays homage to Le Corbusier’s modernism and pairs it with brutalism to create a strong presence through its expression and the use of raw concrete and exposed brick. The architecture establishes a strong relationship with the immediate context through large fenestration. While dramatic architectural gestures create the overall definition, the building itself is broken into a series of ‘readable’ human-scale blocks based on functions. The visual contrast between exposed bricks, exposed concrete and green areas as well as glass windows helps in this delineation as well. The detailing of the façade is done by arranging bricks in angles that help in breaking the linear form.

Ingress of light and a play of different heights volumes keeps the internal programme engaging. Materiality is dominated by concrete ceilings which are grooved to create visual interest. Glass, brass and solid wood temper the gravitas of concrete by adding visual lightness and warmth. Clean-cut and contemporary, the interior environment is composed of modern furniture and abstract art balanced with textural expanses. The highlight of the contemporary environment, however, is the versatility it possesses through its fenestration.

Finely detailed doors and windows and high-precision hardware turns spaces into transparent, connected-to-the-outside screened porches. Art plays a vital role in infusing the modernist appeal of the built-form into the enclosed environment. Abstract wall murals, installations and paintings evoke the master architect’s unique artistic outpourings that have represented architectural work through motifs, forms and colours.
