This residential design in Sankarankovil, situated on a 5,500 square foot plot with access from the west and north, is thoughtfully crafted to harmonize with its surroundings. The architectural approach emphasizes sustainability and comfort, employing a prominent opening on the western facade, complemented by innovative shading featuring a skin wall and louvered surfaces. This design ensures both privacy and ventilation, effectively mitigating the impact of harsh sunlight.

At the heart of the residence is a central skylight courtyard that not only connects the living areas but also features a tranquil water body, enhancing humidity and creating a soothing microclimate. The ground level caters to daily living with two spacious living areas, a dining space, kitchen, pooja room, and a master bedroom, promoting a seamless flow between spaces.

The first floor houses three bedrooms, including dedicated rooms for family members and a guest bedroom, accompanied by a versatile multipurpose area. The second floor is designed for leisure, featuring a home theatre and gym that open to a private terrace, offering an ideal space for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. This residence embodies a modern yet functional aesthetic, prioritizing the well-being of its inhabitants while responding to the site’s unique context.
