A 3000 Sq. ft. Beautiful Three-Storey Home in the Heart of Bombay’s Western Suburbs

One enters into a warm foyer with wooden rafters, a teak wood door, marble flooring and marble-clad walls up to 5 feet. It opens into a spacious home with 11-foot ceilings, adding a sense of openness and grandeur.

The dining area sits at the center of a large window, filling the space with natural light. A Panda white dining table top, back console, hand-carved wooden frame collage on one wall, and a framed black-and-white woven carpet on another, adds texture and depth. A banana fiber boat-shaped pendant light completes the look.

The generously proportioned living room, designed for both quiet evenings and lively gatherings is flooded with natural light through the large openings. Hiding behind the embroidered sheers is the pooja room - a sacred space with a soul. The backdrop is patterned fabric wall cladding that climbs up the wall and curves gently into the ceiling, as if the canopy of the lord almighty. At its heart sits a temple, saag wood and masterfully handcrafted — constructed entirely with traditional wooden joinery, free of nails or screws — resting on elevated steps designed specifically for worship.

The centrally placed staircase, with a unique anti-skid detail: a strip of river-washed marble sandwiched between polished marble treads. A sleek metal handrail is fixed to the sides, while a fabric-sandwiched glass window divides the staircase from the living room. This translucent feature doubles as a sophisticated backdrop for the TV unit, offering glimpses of the stairs beyond and adding layered depth to the space.

The built-in study desk in Panda white marble, extending into the side storage units and framing the window beyond - a thoughtful use of lines and light. A cane-sheet bedhead extends across the wall and seamlessly curves onto the ceiling. The room features a wall of framed family portraits, long windows, a pivot window, and a walk-in closet—key elements that add character and function.
