Zakariya & Shaniba Residence is a thoughtfully crafted contemporary tropical home that reinterprets the essence of Kerala architecture through a refined minimal design approach. Set within a lush green context, the residence is designed to respond sensitively to the local climate while creating a calm and elegant living environment for the family.

The architectural language is defined by clean horizontal rooflines, deep overhangs, and a restrained material palette that together create a strong yet understated street presence. The extended roof planes provide effective shading, reducing heat gain and enhancing thermal comfort-an essential response to the tropical climate of the region. Large openings and carefully positioned windows ensure ample daylight, cross ventilation, and a seamless visual connection with the surrounding landscape.

The 2750 sq.ft residence is planned for both functionality and comfort, accommodating four well-appointed bedrooms, each designed with dedicated walk-in wardrobe spaces for enhanced usability and privacy. The ground floor unfolds into a spacious living area that flows naturally into the dining and family lounge, creating an open yet well-zoned social core. A private patio and sit-out strengthen the indoor-outdoor relationship, allowing the home to breathe with the landscape.
