It is challenging to write about design since there has been so much dogma and theory over the ages that it is impossible to declare a fresh set of rules. Design philosophy is complex and involves a wide range of concerns, attitudes, challenges, and answers.

"TECHNOARCHITECTURE" describes the abundance and plenitude of need, circumstance, whims, constraint, inventiveness, and verve that are typical of enduring turbulent transition at enormous speed. The love of natural shape and materials transformed into props that respect, improve, and celebrate the environment, and above all: TO BE ENJOYED, as respecting "NATURE" became a crucial component of design.

Kanasu is where dreams come true, where clients' goals are responsive to the surroundings and where they can live their best lives. The 50'x100' north-facing site is located in one of Bangalore's most influential areas and is surrounded by private homes on the east and west sides, with an empty property on the south side.

The house has to be interactive within the property, with a large section of the interior facing out onto the countryside. The first impression was to build a relaxed-looking plan that would rather cut off the view from the street by elevating the house by 5' from the road and housing the vehicle park and service in the basement.

The client is as nice as family, whom I've known since I was a child, and it was reasonably easy to meet their requests, which was more beautiful than the design process itself. They want a home that was an extension of their luxury lifestyle, which resulted in a three-story structure with a luxury pool on the terrace. This house has two personalities: an introverted courtyard and an outgoing relationship with the natural landscape.

The interiors are coordinated around a massive double-height volume (void) that floods the house with natural light and allows for deliberate interaction with the elements outside. This is a family home, built to accommodate the casual, robust way the house will be enjoyed and where new memories will be established. The requirements for this sizable multi-generational home included spacious family areas, cooking zones, a temple, a gymnasium, a home theatre, bedroom suites, and solitary and communal places. Along with a sizable garage (to be converted into a showroom), several staff quarters, service rooms, and other facilities were also needed.

We decided to design a three-story house that rises above the street and hovers above the nearby greenery. The goal is to offer a really modern house with all amenities, including a sizable, distinctive pool on the terrace level surrounded by vegetation and creating space for more informal social gatherings.

We wanted to employ tactile materials that would be in tune with nature, so we used concrete, Corten steel, wood, and laminate sheets, which give a texture character and feel warm in sync with the surroundings.
