MAHIMAN- an amalgamation of inherited art values and spirituality. Mahiman is a Sanskrit word which means ‘Increasing values at will’.

‘Mahiman’ house is an amalgamation of the values of the inherent of owner’s Father’s art. A family also strongly believes in the values of spiritualism with modern living. 

An interior language blends with minimalism and dignity of living with spiritualism. As previous stated, the house has inherited the values of art, which enhances the beauty of the house. All the paintings that have been kept in the house are [30-40 years old] done by late father of owner. The owner’s wish to preserve the paintings in his new house.

Holistically, this home is built with Minimal concept, so you can see the one language of design in each space of the house.
Materials used-white ash wood, black stone and beige. White ash wood used as a base material for this house. The idea behind that to maintain the volume of space and create an ambiance of peace of mind.

A play of hues in fabric and furnishings and texture on vertical surface which gives an earthen taste of it. As previous said, everything in the house blends into one language, with maintain of its own identity and importance. The language reflects in centre table, wood panel, light fixture, seating elements etc.  
The design pattern / language is portrayed as creatively as possible such as the black groove pattern of the main door that is reflected from the safety door, the black handle of the stain wood formed from the wood waste.  A thin pair of wooden bars have also maintained and harmonized the interior with the floating side table of the sofa and TV unit. 

In whole apartment, the lighting fixtures developed on existing slab and pull-out from the pattern so there are no false ceiling at all. 
In this house, a touch of black colour perceived as an artistic way and well balanced with other compositions. Dining, side table furniture top finish with black stone for maintain free purpose. 
 
The texture paint gives an earthy taste that enhances the ambiance of the house. All wooden handles carved out from wood wastage and boldly expressed with stain black. A furniture unit finish with treated veneer and wood, behind the intense to feel the each grains of wood and maintain the material authenticity.
A crafted chair inspired from the Danish furniture designer Hans Wegner which enhances the beauty of curves, wood pattern and craftsmanship. Number plate of house inspired from the braille lippi, just count the circle and you will get the number of house.

The budget of this house was limited, so everything in the house is made enough of necessities so the idea / design of this house was crystal clear from the beginning, So this idea was developed and finalized in 3D model.  Interestingly, there’s 0 number of drawings has been created for this project, all detail work has been done from 3D model and executed.
