In the suburbs of Belagavi, Karnataka, the Narrow House stands as a shining exemplar of innovative design, cleverly navigating the challenges of spatial constraints to create a truly unique living experience. Occupying a compact 6x35-meter East-facing site, this remarkable residence is thoughtfully divided into two distinct zones: a commercial space seamlessly integrated at the forefront, and a serene residential area nestled discreetly at the rear, accessible via a subtle passage that whispers elegance.

Guided by the client's vision for a light-filled home, we designed a space that maximizes natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day. The Narrow House boasts an exemplary incorporation of natural light and ventilation, with strategically placed cut-outs and skylights that weave sunlight throughout the home, reducing the need for artificial lighting and fostering a profound sense of openness.

The lobby entrance seamlessly blends natural elements with modern sophistication, creating a warm atmosphere with rich wood tones and lush plants. The pooja unit's stunning wooden door, adorned with bells and a laser-cut handle featuring intricate Jali design, exudes serenity. The beauty lies not just in the intricate details, but also in the peaceful ambiance it creates, perfect for daily worship and meditation.
